On Monday 11th April, the Year 10 and 11 GCSE Drama groups were given the opportunity to attend a performance of ‘The Crucible’ at the Nottingham Arts Theatre.
This was a set text for both groups and the Year 11,
in particular, looked forward to seeing how it would
be staged and what the acting was like. It was an
amateur performance and our judgement of it at the
end of the night was mixed. It did help us to
understand the storyline but some of the pupils felt
they themselves could have done better!
