With Summer now well and truly underway, Colonel Frank Seely's school-community garden is taking off with the help of Grant Withers and Alan Wilson from the Calverton Horticultural Society and an enthusiastic group of Year 7 and 8 students.
The garden now has a pond in the making
and fruit and vegetables have been planted; the rest
of the plot will be developed throughout the summer.
Any donations of garden equipment or furniture from local firms would be very much appreciated by the school!! A bench or two would come in handy for a rest after a hard lunchtime of gardening!!
